Group Life

Learn more about 'types of groups' and how to 'find and join group'! A great deal of how we measure success at Crossroads is our ability to help people take their next step to maturity in Christ...

We believe the small group environment is the best place for life change to occur. Depending on your needs, we have 4 types of groups available for you to join.
  1. Small Groups
  2. Bible Studies
  3. Care Groups
  4. Serving Groups
While every group is unique in and of itself, there are 4 primary attributes that combine to make up the purpose of each group. This is demonstrated in the graph below...

The Four Types of Groups at Crossroads...

The Four Attributes of Groups at Crossroads...

Here are what each of these attributes mean to us:

  • What it means for a group to “Connect”: We believe meaningful connection with others is vital for one's spiritual health.  At Crossroads, connecting involves the bringing together of people into a group of 6-20 people in an environment that is genuine, transparent, and grace-filled. Connecting can build those "God-Friendships" that last a lifetime & make all the difference.

  • What it means for a group to “Urge to Grow”: The pillars of spiritual maturity at Crossroads are Spiritual Freedom, Emotional Health, and Interactive Discipleship. We believe that small groups are the most effective way for believers to urge each other to grow in these areas.

  • What it means for a group to “Care”: Life can hurt. In the midst of the ups and downs that happen in our journey, we want to provide environments that encourage and heal those within. Through words and action, our leaders exist to truly make each individual and the hurts they carry a priority. Be it physical ailments, emotional pain, past wounds, or future worries; True community rises and falls on the care of each individual in the group.

  • What it means for a group to “Serve”: While each member is encouraged to serve at Crossroads, we believe that something special can happen when a group serves together. By existing beyond itself, a group can not only make an impact but can be knit together more closely.  Groups will often serve activities such as Church services, Kids areas, Wrap it up, or the Warehouse.
